Jon Perkins

Jon PJon Perkins (2)erkins is a retired insurance company executive who lives with his wife in Southern California. They have two children and two grandchildren, and spend as much time with them as possible.

Support Group? Is the VPC also a Support GRoup? SG implies someone has suffered. Maybe not suffered…but it is terrible to invest time and brain power and money in a piece of writing(s) and the targeted publisher says, in effect, nah. keep it.
You have subscribed to a magazine for years, maybe you broke thru the clique and gotten one letter published. You know the piece is excellent and would be very relatable to the readership. But… no.
So we authors need support. All kinds of “psychological” help.
But lets look at “support” also again a green background. Lets buy each others books! Lets do Amazon reviews! I buy someones tome – hopefully they will buy mine.
Dont mean be sarcastic. I do not see alot of buying going on at the meetings. Even at our annual Library event.
I have bought bout 8 Village author books. Have reviewed them.
    Try it…you’ll like it.
