Casey Dorman has had a long and distinguished career as a research and clinical psychologist, a university professor and a university dean, during which time he published a major book on neuroscience with John Hopkins University Press and more than two dozen scientific articles. A novelist and poet, he is also the owner of Avignon Press, which has published both his and other authors’ books, and he is the Editor-in-Chief of Lost Coast Review, which publishes fiction, poetry, and book and film reviews.
As a novelist Casey has published several mystery/thrillers, as well as a literary novel, Unquity, and the Morality series, which is committed to ecology and nonviolence and includes Where Have All the Young Men Gone? and The Peacemaker. He is working on the third Morality novel and another literary novel.
Casey and his wife, Lai travel whenever possible and several of his novels include material gathered from his experiences in Asia and Europe.
